New MSC gave me the same route this month, 14 rural stations in Nebraska, Colorado, and Kansas. Walked into a tiny station in rural Kansas and the clerk/cashier/secretary says, my lord, haven't seen you in years! How ya been? And just to prove that she really recognized me, she walks back to the employee fridge and comes back with an ice cold bottle of water, which she hands me with a huge smile. "You'll need this, too, right?"

Was in a Sinclair gas station in a small town getting gas. Not mystery shopping, just getting gas. As she rang up my purchase, the clerk says, "You're our mystery shopper, aren't you?" I said, no, I'm not. She then asked wasn't I at such and such a Sinclair station 2 days ago as the mystery shopper. Well, I had never shopped this station where I was getting the gas -- and never will -- so I didn't see a problem with admitting that yes, indeed, I had mystery shopped the other station two days earlier.

I asked her why she asked. She said she was talking to the clerk at the other store on the phone, as they are BFF. When the other clerk said, "gotta go, our mystery shopper just drove up", this clerk got her to tell her what car I drove and what I looked like.

What is their payment schedule and for those that do work for them are they paying on time? I had to laugh at one of their FF entries that has a $0.00 fee and a $9.00 reimbursement for chicken fingers. I did the same FF site with another MSC a couple of weeks ago and there was a fee and reimbursement. I saw some make offers on storage, but some of those assignments require you to rent if the salesperson doesn't show up after a certain period of time.
